Stu Bayer, a Patch freelance photographer, snapped an adorable set of photos of children at Northern Westchester Hospital playing doctor for the day and making sure patients near and dear to their hearts – aka their favorite stuffed animals – were given a clean bill of health. The National Press Photographers Association awarded Stu with third place in their monthly clip contest, in the feature picture story category for these "beary" sweet photos on Chappaqua's Patch site.
